- We are running a combination of IBM Lan Server, MS LanMan, WFW3.1x, NT/AS, and
- maybe Novell (dont know if they finally converted from it yet) on a 4mbps ring
- with no problems.
- Within our department only some of us use TCP/IP and most of them use MSTCP
- (the 16bit NDIS2 stack for windows)--other than a memory hog, no problems. I
- am now running MS's beta 32bit NDIS3 tcpip stack and it is doing well so far
- (barring one very annoying problem).
- As I understand it, IBM Lan Server is pretty much just MS Lanman in a differnt
- box. I presume then, that it is ndis compliant (hence you should be able to
- use (at least) the tcp/ip 16bit stack from MS.
- FTP.MICROSOFT.COM
- /advsys/msclient/wfw/wfwtcp.exe (16 bit)
- /peropsys/wfw/tcpip/vxdbeta/mtcpb1.exe (32 bit)
- Good luck!

- Oops! so much for defining aliases, turns out that I apparently uploaded
- it to ftp.cica.indiana.edu and not cica.cica.indiana.edu as stated.
